Dear Partner,
Thank you for considering Honor House Church's transformative mission. Our focus is clear: to multiply disciples and raise leaders, not maintain buildings. We believe the future of the Church is in empowering individuals to lead, disciple, and impact their communities.
"We exist to lead people to and through a lifelong journey with Jesus."

Community Need
Our world is facing a crisis of isolation, broken families, and spiritual emptiness. Loneliness is at an all-time high, mental health struggles are rising, and fatherlessness is leaving generations without guidance. Studies show that intentional discipleship and faith-based mentorship significantly reduce crime, substance abuse, and family breakdown—yet many people searching for faith struggle to find meaningful connections in traditional church settings.
At Honor House Church, we believe the answer lies in discipleship-driven, home-based communities. Our home churches provide a personal, relational, and accessible way for people to grow in faith, find belonging, and develop strong families. By equipping leaders to disciple others, we create a multiplying network of support that fosters emotional, spiritual, and societal healing. When people are deeply discipled, crime rates drop, families are restored, and lives are transformed.
This isn’t just a church model—it’s a movement to heal communities and change lives.
Investing in Discipleship = Investing in a Better Future
Intentional discipleship addresses the root causes of many societal problems—offering hope, restoration, and a proven model for change.
Why Home Churches?
As more people seek meaningful faith connections, traditional church models can sometimes struggle to meet the diverse needs of today’s world. While large institutions often require significant resources, home churches provide a more personal, flexible, and deeply relational approach to faith. Our model emphasizes community, discipleship, and personal transformation, fostering spiritual and societal health in a way that is both scalable and sustainable.
Our home church model—led by trained disciple-makers—is scalable, cost-effective, and deeply personal. It’s not just about coming to church; it’s about becoming the Church. This approach maximizes impact while drastically reducing costs.
How Home Churches Reduce Costs and Maximize Impact
The Home Church Model drastically reduces these costs while maintaining (and even increasing) discipleship effectiveness. Here’s how:
Minimal Facility Expenses → Home churches meet in homes, eliminating large mortgages, rent, and building maintenance costs. Homes are already being paid for, although as an organization, we would like to help with the upkeep of facilitating groups of people.
Streamlined Staffing → Leadership is distributed among trained disciple-makers, reducing the need for a large salaried staff.
Organic Ministry Growth → No need for expensive church programs—discipleship happens in real-life settings, not just structured church events.
Lower Technology & Media Costs → No need for expensive stage production, large sound systems, or live streaming infrastructure.
The average cost to disciple a person in a traditional church is $4,500 - $10,000 annually. The cost per disciple in a home church is $ 500 - $2,000 annually. That’s a reduction of 70-90% in cost, allowing more resources to be directed toward discipleship, outreach, and church multiplication!
A Vision for Multiplication
Rather than focusing on one large gathering, our mission is to plant a network of home churches across Houston and beyond. Each home church is a disciple-making hub where believers are equipped to grow, lead, and multiply.
Our Strategy:
Biblical Teaching & Discipleship – Every gathering is focused on Scripture, prayer, and applying God’s Word in daily life.
Authentic Community – Small, relational settings foster accountability, spiritual growth, and personal transformation.
Multiplication Mindset – Every home church is designed to train leaders who plant more home churches, ensuring continual growth.
Missional Impact – Home churches empower believers to serve their neighborhoods, evangelize, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Scaling Across Houston & Beyond
Instead of investing millions into buildings, we are investing in people—raising leaders, discipling families, and launching self-sustaining home churches that continue to reproduce. This approach drastically reduces costs while maximizing impact, allowing resources to go directly toward discipleship, outreach, and leadership development.
Our dream is to see a thriving network of home churches throughout Houston and beyond, each one a beacon of faith, community, and multiplication.
This isn’t just a church model—it’s a discipleship movement.
